Export SMS Tracking Report

In this article, we will guide you through how to export an SMS tracking report in Apifon platform.

Task Roadmap

To begin, on the Dashboard menu go to “Reports” and choose the submenu “SMS Tracking”.

Here you can find SMS messages you have sent in the past and quickly check information like:

  • Unique message ID
  • Sender ID
  • Destination number
  • Date sent
  • Network
  • Current status of the message

The status of a message may be Refused, Undelivered, Delivered, Pending and Uncategorized.

Export SMS Tracking results

Data customization

To configure the visible data, click “Search” from the SMS tracking menu, or click on the 3 dashes in the upper right corner.

You can customize the visible data by:

  • Sender Id
  • Destination
  • Message Id
  • Request Id
  • Campaign Id
  • Reference
  • SMS Status
  • Countries / Network


To export the SMS Tracking results, follow these steps:

  1. Click “Export” from the list menu.
  2. Type a name for the exported file.
  3. Select the number of the rows that you want to export.
  4. Select the format of the exported file (.xlsx, .csv).
  1. If you wish to include a pivot table, enable “Include pivot table” option. A pivot table summarizes your report data and is placed to a new worksheet in the excel file.
  2. If you want to include column titles in the first row, leave “Column names in first row” enabled.
  3. Click “Export”.

You will receive a notification e-mail when your file is ready.

 8. Go to “Reports” then choose “Export”.

Here you will find all the files that you exported in the past and can easily check for information like:

  • which user requested the export
  • the date the export was requested
  • the name of the file
  • Click on the download button to download your file.

If your SMS messages are less than 4000 you can export them by following these steps:

  1. Select how many rows you would like to appear on each page.
  2. You can choose which columns to include or exclude in the results.
  3. Click “Export” to export the visible data to a csv file.
