How can I share a PDF file in my Email campaign?
In an email campaign, you can redirect your recipients to a PDF file using several different methods, depending on your design and goals:
-
Public URL: Use a direct Public URL that leads to your hosted PDF file.
-
CTA Button: Add a Call-To-Action button with a defined target URL.
-
Hyperlink (Anchor Text): Insert a hyperlink into specific text within the body of your email.
-
Image Component: To make an image clickable, first click on the image, then press the "Make an Image Clickable" button. After that, click the brackets icon
{ }to insert your link.
How to Send Personalized PDFs to Each Recipient
If you want to send a unique PDF (e.g., a personalized invoice or report) to every person on your list, follow these steps:
-
Generate Public URLs: Create a unique Public URL for each personalized .pdf file you intend to send.
-
Create a Subscriber Field: In your subscriber list, create a new Subscriber Field of the "URL" type. This is where you will store the specific link for each recipient.
-
Set Up the Campaign: Create the content of your Email campaign through our drag-and-drop builder and add a CTA Button.
-
In the button's URL settings, click the brackets icon
{ }.
-
Select your custom URL field under the Email Fields section (the one you created in Step 2).
-
-
Send Your Campaign: Once sent, the platform will automatically "pull" the correct link for each recipient (as created in Step 1).
