How to change your billing plan?

In this article, you will learn how to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Apifon billing plan.

Upgrade plan

When do you need to upgrade your plan?

If you need additional subscribers or wish to send (more) emails, the solution lies in upgrading your subscription. This process involves purchasing a larger plan or tier to accommodate your growing needs.

The upgrade is executed promptly, and it includes the renewal of the subscription cycle in your account. This means that you can enjoy the increased benefits of your new subscription plan without any delay.

  • Any remaining days from the previous subscription are prorated and adjusted in the newly upgraded plan.
  • You will receive an email, confirming the successful completion of the upgrade. This email outlines the details of the new subscription plan and any changes to the user's account.

How to Upgrade your plan?

Navigate to the Account Name > Account tab and follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Plan section and click on Upgrade if you are on a free plan or Edit if you are on a paid plan.
  2. Proceed to the Plans & Tiers section.
  3. Select a higher tier or plan available.

Pro-ratio

What is Pro-ratio?

The concept of pro-ratio is integral to the upgrade process. Pro-ratio involves adjusting the value of the subscription days that haven't been used. In other words, the value of the unused days from the previous subscription is subtracted from the value of the new subscription. This ensures that users only pay for the services they use, creating a fair and transparent system.

Upon upgrading your subscription, a detailed invoice will be sent to you on the second day of the upcoming month.

This document provides a comprehensive breakdown of your subscription and payment details, serving as a reference for your records.

Downgrade plan

If the circumstances change you may need to adjust your subscription to a lower plan or tier.

How to Downgrade your plan?

Navigate to the Account Name>Account tab and follow the steps below:
  1. Go to the Plan section and click Edit.
  2. Proceed to the Plans & Tiers section
  3. Select a lower tier or Downgrade your plan.
  4. Confirm Downgrade.

Once you confirm the downgrade, your subscription will be adjusted to your new plan or tier by the time your plan expires. Upon the successful update of your plan, you will automatically receive a confirmation email notification. This email includes details about the downgraded plan, the adjusted expiration date, and any potential changes in billing

  • For now, the only option is to switch from the Email plan to Direct.
  • The selected tier should be equal or greater than the account's current subscribers.

It is important to note that downgrading to a free plan is not an option.

Cancel plan

How to cancel your plan?

Navigate to the Account Name>Account tab and follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Account Overview. Under the Plan section, there is the Cancel Plan option.

    Cancel
  2. Select Cancel if you wish to proceed with canceling your plan or Downgrade if you change your mind.
  3. Choose to proceed with the cancelation if you want to cancel your plan.
After the activation date of the plan cancellation, the account will be disabled,

and previous users will no longer be able to log in with their credentials.

  • You can undo a cancellation up to the previous day before the scheduled cancellation date.
  • Two months after the cancellation, all account data will be permanently deleted. You can request your data only from the support team until then.

Post-cancellation actions:
  • You can continue using your account with the active subscription until the end of the billing period.
  • If you change your mind, you can cancel the scheduled cancellation until the end of the billing period.
  • After the activation date of the scheduled cancellation, you cannot log in or create an account with the same email.

Effects on Mookee features after the actual account cancellation:

  • Unavailable landing pages/forms: All published landing pages and forms lead to an error page.
  • Message delivery: Scheduled SMS/Viber messages will not be sent.
  • Automations halt: All automations, including failover campaigns, stop.
  • List deletion: All lists in the account are trashed.
